Service help

Recommended Posts

if I am correct, when you run a program as a service...it starts running before the user actually logs on...what is the best way to make a service not start (or to sleep) until the user has successfully logged on?

Bumb

Am I right? or am I an idiot...I suppose I can be both though, which I probably am, I was playing around with the service...

all I tried to get it to do is

msgbox(0,"Working?", "YAY!!! It worked!")

but I get an error, is that because a MsgBox cant be shown b4 windows logs in? :D

The normal waiting time before bumping a thread is 24 hours.

Bumpy

Okay we have the bumping out of the way so I can go on to the next lesson.

Your past record of offering keyloggers in your signature suggests that you don't mind providing or (assumably) using AutoIt for malicious purposes. Since anything involving services could be used maliciously, you won't be getting any help in this direction from me and I hope from anyone else either. When You have been around long enough to show a certain level of responsibility then I will reconsider.
