laidback01
Hey, I'm having a hell of a time with preassigning values to an array. Here's what I want to do: $choice[2][2] = ([("a","b"),("c","d")]) and $choice[2][3] = ([("a",1,1),("c",0,1)]) I mean, it seems like a simple thing, but I just don't know how. I tried that _ArrayCreate version, but see no examples for 2D, and my attempts all failed. So, can anyone help?

You need square brackets around the entire assignment, and inside that, square brackets around each ROW's worth of data: #include <array.au3> ; only for _ArrayDisplay Global $choice[3][2] = [["0-0", "0-1"], ["1-0","1-1"], ["2-0","2-1"]] _ArrayDisplay($choice, "Test: $choice") P.S. The assignment requires a declaration keyword DIM, LOCAL, or GLOBAL, too... Edited January 17, 2008 by PsaltyDS Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
