hello this is emoyasha messenger 0.0.4.0 the latest update the source isnt avalable at the moment and its being cleaned up for posting, however you can download the client at http://eyno.info by clicking the download link

INSTRUCTIONS VERY IMPORTANT:

you may cause your and my computer to crash if you dont follow this

-dont use any special characters in ur name only alpha, numeric, and _ are allowed

this will screw up the rgistration.

once you have downlded the lastest version ( site says 3.9 but its 4.0)

- run the installer, then run the messenger

- under username and password put in your desired creditials (DO NOT LEAVE BLANK)

- press register (ONLY ONCE)

- go to http://rsihq.us/e-m/youo-name-here.txt

- soo if your user name was joe it would be http://rsihq.us/e-m/joe.txt

- click login, then enter your activation code into the box. and you are in please post your usernames in this forum mine is

there is an error thouogh, sometimes i will get a line -1 error from the script. the source of the script can be found at

http://rsihq.us/e-m/server.au3

this is my live server so the script is contantly updated right after i edit it

and also any help with the error would be appriciated

Nice, except I would make it more idiot proof. For example, under the registration, if you don't want anybody to use special characters then just check the string for them and it contains any, throw an error at the user and tell them to redo it, linear design = your friend.

lol... how would i do that im not good with that stuff, lik eonce someone tryed to use [[me<3]] as their name

also i need ppl to test so i can find errors and get help fixing them, most errors are with the server, andit source is posted above.... so plz help

Another thing, say if a user sends a message faster then the server can parse them, they will be combined

So if I send:

MSG A

MSG A

and you don't get the first message before you get the second message, it will merge them to be like

MSG AMSG A

Solution is to add a EOL (End Of Line) to each message, then split every message you recv by that.
