MISIIM
I want to use the Clipboard UDF to copy/cut/paste files. 1. How do I basically use the Clipboard UDF with $CF_HDROP? 2. How do I specify if I wish to copy or cut? Thanks.

Use the FileCopy() and FileMove() functions in AutoIt.- The Kandie Man ;-) "So man has sown the wind and reaped the world. MISIIM
Err, I did read the help file. I'm not trying to manipulate another program. I want to add copy/cut/paste features to my program. The problem is that files are not just strings so no one can paste to explorer and cut doesn't work well.

MISIIM
I am writing a file manager in AutoIt. It works pretty well except for copy, cut, and paste so I'm rewriting them. I want to be able to copy file names to the clipboard so they could be pasted into explorer or my FM. I also want to be able to paste from explorer. Unfortunately I can't find an example on reading file names or putting file names from the clipboard. Also I need to be able to specify/detect if the files are being copied or pasted. Thanks a lot.
