Bert
I'm making IE windows that are hidden, reading the HTML, then closing them. My problem is when I read the HTML, the hidden IE window gains focus. How can I read the HTML code in the IE window without the focus switching to that window? The following is in a loop, depending on how many IE windows I need to open. $ie1 = _IECreate($links[$w], 0, 0, 1,-1) $read = _IEBodyReadHTML($ie1) $readX = _IEBodyReadText($ie1) $oLinks2 = _IELinkGetCollection($IE1) For $oLink2 In $oLinks2 _ArrayAdd($Array2, _IEPropertyGet($oLink2, "innertext")) _ArrayAdd($links2, $oLink2.href) Next The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
DaleHohm
Try sandwiching your code using the following (undocumented) function, which is internally used by _IECreate: __IELockSetForegroundWindow($LSFW_LOCK) ; your code __IELockSetForegroundWindow($LSFW_UNLOCK) Dale Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model Automate input type=file (Related) Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded Better Better? It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
