DllCall Invalid Return Type

$sRew = DllCall("MD5Hash.dll", "str", "MD5Hash", "str", "Test String", "int", 2, "bool", true)

MsgBox(1, @error, $sRew)

MD5Hash.dll

I've tried many thing but it always returns an error of 2 which means I have an invalid return type.

There is no "bool" type. Use "int" instead (either 0 or 1).

Where did you get this DLL from or is it the one posted here as an Addin ?

Theres were the DLL came from,

as for using "str" instead of "bool", it just hard crashes Autoit.

As far as I know its and PlugIn DLL that requiers a totally different syntax as shown in the example

Why are you not using it as described in the example and how did you get the shown DllCall syntax ?

I remembered reading somewhere that PluginOpen and PluginClose were removed, now that I see they are now, I do not need the dll call.

So you are seriously trying to tell us you made that DllCall() syntax up yourself and are surprised it does a hard crash ?
