Imppilot
I feel really bad for asking this, as it is a seemingly simple question, but I can't find the answer anywhere. I want autoit to do somethings (get a username, os, ect) and then output that information as a text file. My plan is to run is at a startupscript for a day and collect all the users on the domains information (we need to update our database badly). But I can't figure out how to output something like the MemGetStats() to something other then a Msgbox. Cheers...don't kill me "Could be worse. Could be raining." Richard Robertson
FileWrite("file.txt", "some text") And don't feel bad, everyone has some off-times. At least you were polite about it. AdmiralAlkex
You could also put your text into an array and then use _FileWriteFromArray() Edited February 7, 2008 by TzarAlkex .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
Imppilot
Yeah for fast replies. I'll try those. I was hoping for something like the >file.txt dumps of batch goodness but those work too. It basically will save me leg work of going to everyones computer and logging in, finding out all the system data, logging off (getting mad because Windows isn't updated...you knwo the drill). Thanks again, I'll post back when I code it all/get free time to code it all. "Could be worse. Could be raining."
