Richard Robertson
Or in short, just use SW_HIDE. Some of the AutoIt stuffs were named similarly to their native counterparts.

Valik
Just wandering but how is AutoIt compiled? With Visual Studio. Is it converted to C++ or what? It's written in C++.DUH if it did then it would work on Linux etcUhh. How you jumped to this conclusion I can't even fathom.I mean is AutoIt like a processor? It's an interpreter.
James
Ok, I just got a tad confused. I didn't mean what editor do you use but w/e. Have you got a diagram showing the processes? Valik
Ok, I just got a tad confused. I didn't mean what editor do you use but w/e.Have you got a diagram showing the processes? You're still confused. First, Visual Studio isn't an "editor", it's an IDE. Which means we use a Microsoft compiler. Second... diagram? What are you on about now?
James
Yes ok I understand. By diagram I mean the processing of how AutoIt works. Reasonable question. Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
evilertoaster
Yes ok I understand.By diagram I mean the processing of how AutoIt works. Developers Jos Posted February 22, 2008 Developers Share Posted February 22, 2008 Why is this topic in Devolper Chat?..and why did you feel the urge to say this while a Dev commented in this thread ? I would think he's capable enough to determine if it needs to be moved or not without you commenting.Having said that: Why would it not be a good place to ask a C++ language question? Valik
Yes ok I understand.By diagram I mean the processing of how AutoIt works. Reasonable question.Maybe you have a reasonable goal in mind but your questions aren't. They are incredibly vague. I don't know if you're asking for implementation details of AutoIt or if all you really want is what evilertoaster posted. Or if you want something else entirely. James
Thanks George. Valik, I was just wandering what the process of the AutoIt Interpreter. I see things better drawn out. Richard Robertson
When did George post here? You want a description of how it works? This is a very simple version. Source.au3 gets packed into the AutoItSC.bin. That result gets compressed optionally with UPX. It gets renamed to .exe. Do you really need to know any more than that?
