Nutster Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 I use Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and Safer Networking's SpyBot S&D for spyware detection and Grisoft's AVG anti-virus product. I usually load update them with manual updates, as my home computer is not on the Internet at the moment. I wrote a script that I an run in its compiled state on pretty much any computer I am on to grab the update files. See the attachment for details. I have to read Grisoft's update page to determine which files to download, including skipping the files for Linux versions.
