In the attached script, clicking on Exit after clicking on the tray icon doesn't work. Why?

Might have something to do with this

GuiCreate($macroname, 241, 119,-1, -1 , BitOR($WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW, $WS_CLIPSIBLINGS))
    GUICtrlSetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE,"CCEexit")

Should not be "GUICtrlSetOnEvent". Replace that with "GUISetOnEvent"

Thanks for pointing out the error, but fixing it didn't help.

Then I'll leave it for someone else. I'm laying in bed with the laptop and I don't have AutoIt installed on here.

I just check my online help pages when I need to look something up.

Hi c.haslam,

To manage Tray events you should better use "TraySetOnEvent" (see AutoIt help file for details).

A tray is not a Gui...

Bye

I now see my error: TraySetOnEvent(-1,"ExitScriptCB") should be TrayItemSetOnEvent(-1,"ExitScriptCB"). Thanks for the "nudge" in the right direction.
