Arney
I've seen how to change resolution on a display using user32.dll, but does anyone know a way to check if something is connected to a secondary display and "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor". I'd like to do this directly (dll calls, etc...) instead of macro-ing a right click, etc... Thanks
DjDeep00
Why dont use a software that has already been made to do this? For Free Also
Arney
I need something that doesn't need to be installed (stand-alone .exe), and I need to automate checking if the second display is connected, and enable it if it is. Then run another program, with some user interaction. The program listed looks like it needs to be installed, and it adds buttons to the window handlers. Besides, if I just needed to enable a second display, windows has fairly simple controls to do that alone. Arney
Any ideas? I know there's got to be a better more direct way of doing it.
