Swift
Is there any possible way at all, for FileInstall to check a text file or anything, and to use what it gets as the 'Source' it says it must be a literal string, but is there a way this can work? Developers Jos Posted March 11, 2008 Developers Share Posted March 11, 2008 aut2exe doesn't not support it so: No. The only option you have is to write some sort of wrapper that "generates" the fileinstall() statements for you. DW1
In the install script that you will be creating with your script, the FileInstall indeed needs to be a literal string. Your script creating script however will not need to be using fileinstall at all, only creating another script that will use it. Man, I hope that made at least some sense. EDIT: damn it Jos, thats twice now.... for the rest of the day I will wait an extra 30 seconds, refresh, then post if you haven't already Edited March 11, 2008 by danwilli AutoIt3 Online Help

DW1
Not that I see it as a competition, it's just a waste of my time when I click the post button to see the answer right above my post I wouldn't dare consider it a competition when the devs are competing. I only post here because I love autoit and don't take my job seriously enough LMAO. AutoIt3 Online Help
