I noticed, even when IE is in hidden mode, there is still sound clicks that happen when using _IENavigate. Not only that, I want to disable the sound when it is embedded. Lumbo Posted March 14, 2008 Share Posted March 14, 2008 You may try to rename the sound file at the start of the script and change it OnAutoItExit. This is not compatible to languages and OSs. "C:\Windows\Media\Windows XP - Start.wav" Better solution : you can search for IE or System settings and set that action does no sound. I did a fast look and found nothing. I'm still waiting for the error in msdn to be solved. Edit: I forgot to mentioned that method is possible, I can also do that in the registry, but I'm looking forward to something that does not edit the registry.
