FunkyMonkey82
Hello, I'm totally new to auto-it but I'm quite good to understand and learn how to code Auto-It scripts. I'd like to capture a 100x100px portion on a server and send it to the client where it should be displayed (on a GUI for instance). I read a lot of threads in the forum but now I'm even more confused than before. Any help on where I could start would be appreciated Thanky you

Any help on where I could start would be appreciated Thanky you Start with the help file, which contains the complete command reference, a couple of short tutorials, and example scripts for most functions. For a more extensive tutorial by Valuater, see the AutoIt-1-2-3 link in my sig.Learn the basics then try out the _ScreenCapture_* functions. Save to a file in a network shared location and the client can access it from there. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... Is now in Session! For those who want somebody to write the script for them: RentACoder"Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced." -- Geek's corollary to Clarke's law
ProgAndy
You can send it over TCP, too, but this isn't easy. In the German forum, there is a Solution for this with the whole Screen: http://www.autoit.de/index.php?page=Thread...37418#post37418//Edit: The Direction is: sending the Screen from the Client to the Server.
