#AutoIt3Wrapper_icon

Recommended Posts

can't seem to get it to work

#AutoIt3Wrapper_icon=main.ico

I put the code file (.au3) and the icon file (.ico) in the same folder and compile it, it can't seem to compile it with the icon file. It just use the AutoIt default file.

I saw some code use #Region before the wrapper code, but with or without it still doesn't work.

any idea??

The ICO is updated by AutoIt3Wrapper using the standard aut2exe functionality, not a resource update and....

You must have ResHacker.exe in AutoIt3Wrapper directory: C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\reshacker.exe

:) Not needed anymore for the standard Resource updates. It is build-in now since that latest version.

He probably used older version where reshacker.exe was missing

and now he downloaded latest version where reshacker.exe needn't be there

and it's reason it works for him now OK.

My guess was that he was using the standard supplied "lite" version of SciTE4AutoIt3 because else Autoit3Wrapper runs and would have displayed some sort of warning about it .. anyways... it works :) Edited by Jos
