WinSetState(@SW_MINIMIZE, "xx") animation speed

Recommended Posts

I want to minimize about 25 windows with the following code:

$var = Winlist("Testwindows", "")
For $a = 1 to $var[0][0]
      WinSetState( $var[$a][0], @SW_MINIMIZE)
Next

This works fine, but because of the windows minimize animation and 30 windows to minimize, this actually takes 5 - 10 seconds.

Is there a way to temporarily disable (or reduce) window animation so it takes less time to minimize these 30 windows?

I've searched the forum already and found a similar post, but with no clear answer. I tried editing the registry:

Local $regvalue = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop\WindowMetrics", "MinAnimate")
RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop\WindowMetrics", "MinAnimate", "REG_SZ", 0)

CODE POSTED EARLIER

RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop\WindowMetrics", "MinAnimate", "REG_SZ", $regvalue)

Unfortunately this doesn't work.
