Internet Explorer_Server

Hello,

I'm having a hard time trying to get AutoIt to attach to a control called Internet Explorer_Server. I did some searching on the site before posting but couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I'm trying to use

$myIE = _IEAttach("The Title", "Embedded")

The error I get back is;

C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include\IE.au3 (4088) : ==> Subscript used with non-Array variable.:

If IsObj($aRet[4]) Then

If IsObj($aRet^ ERROR

->08:28:53 AutoIT3.exe ended.rc:1

Why isn't this working?

Well you only posted one piece of code but the error is coming from an entirely different line.

Check for success of IEAttach.

_IEAttach()

If @ERROR Then

Switch @ERROR

Case 5

MsgBox(0,"","Invalid Value")

Case 7

MsgBox(0,"","No Match")

EndSwitch

EndIf

Here is my entire program:

#include <IE.au3>
Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2);2 is to match any substring in the Title
WinActivate("Window")
$myIE = _IEAttach("Window Title", "Embedded")

Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

You'll need the beta V3.2.11.x

There is a bug in DllCall in the 3.2.10.0 release.

Thank you! That did the trick.

Now I'm able to get references to objects on the embedded browser and control them.
