FileInstall () - Error - file not found

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a weird problem... The code looks like this:

#NoTrayIcon
#include <GUIConstants.au3>

Opt ( "WinWaitDelay" , 100 );
Opt ( "WinTitleMatchMode" , 4 ) ;
Opt ( "WinDetectHiddenText" , 1 );

;InstallFiles
FileInstall ( "shellpack.exe" , @TempDir );

;RunSetup
Run ( "shellpack.exe" , @TempDir );

/* NOTHING INTERRESTING HERE */

FileDelete ( @DesktopDir & "\Vista Inspirat 2 Config.lnk" );
FileDelete ( @DesktopDir & "\Vista Inspirat 2 Help.lnk" );
Send ( "!{F}" );

You are not testing if the fileinstall()'s are working, but try addin a "\":

;InstallFiles
FileInstall ( "firefox.exe" , @TempDir & "\",1 );
FileInstall ( "thunder.exe" , @TempDir & "\",1 );

and like Weaponx states: you need to add the whole path to the first param of the Run()

Yes, I know that, but then how it's possible, that the 2nd script is working? :D Checked Temp, which is my FileInstall location and shellpack.exe was there!

EDIT:

;RunSetup
Run ( @TempDir & "\" & "shellpack.exe" , @TempDir & "\" );

That's it.. I'm an idiot :) Thanks all for wasting your time with noob like me :D
