If FileExists($lnkShortcutLocation) Then
    Run(@ComSpec & ' /c "' & $lnkShortcutLocation & '"', '', @SW_HIDE)
Else

how do I run a short cut from the same folder?

FileGetShortcut the .lnk file and then run the target.

Note, FileGetShortcut() returns an array, so you'll want to isolate that specific index item (target = index[0]). If there are run issues, use the working directory in your Run() call (also available in the same array).

Edit: looking at the other replies, perhaps I was overthinking it :D
