Recommended Posts

hello to all,

in next days i will by a nintendo wii controller (wiimote) to configure it with my pc.

A lot of things can be do with this bluetooth hardware.

Have also few ideas for small application and mini-game made in Autoit.

Which information Autoit can collect from bluetooth devices?

thank you for any info.

Or use "GlovePIE", there you can make your wiimote works as a mouse/keyboard, I used it to control my HTPC, it was really neat with a homebuilt sensor bar(two candles lol :D)

Yes, you have to use GlovePIE and a "mouse script" to use it as a mouse. Just by default windows will see the wiimote as a Human Interface Device, but it won't actually do anything without more stuff. Glove PIE is a good way to get started, but for more advanced programmers (which I am not) can use libraries to interface with the wiimote. I think I've seen some compiled dlls floating around out there which may be able to be used with AutoIt, but my dll expertise is limited.

thank you all for replies,

i don't think to use glovepie to intercept mouse position,

any mouse 'gesture tool' made in Autoit yet, i found only

little examples.

Any idea to discuss to ? Wiimote interaction can be good,

i see touchscreen, multitouch screen (if wiimote is stable

on your desk and you move IR sensors separately)

Autoit can be a good friend for a lot of task
