enzipher
Hey! I am trying to make an "Open with"-program. To be more specific. When I click on a link in the mail program Thunderbird for instance, I would like to choose which browser to open the link with. I have the default set to IE (for reasons) but mostly I want to open sites in Firefox. So I wanted to make an "Open with.."-program to solve the issue. The question I have... How can I capture the "click-on-a-link"-event so I can open my program instead of the default browser (IE)? It doesn't work to set it as the default for *.htm/html-files... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Edited August 29, 2023 by enzipher
Paulie
I don't understand... You want the default browser to remain IE, yet you want to open links in Firefox? What does this have to do with autoit?
enzipher
Actually I think I solved it myself... The answer is to register the program with the "file"-type "URL: CallTo Protocol" or "URL:HTTP" (note sure which, if not both). But anyway, another solution could as well have been nice.
