TreeView within a LisView

Is there a way to basically combine a ListView and TreeView so that the first column of a ListView contains TreeView type items that when expanded or collapsed, expand or collapse the children of the TreeView Item and the associated ListView rows? Simliar to the following mockup (saved as attachement Mockup.jpg)

There is no simple way to have them in one control together.

But it could be quite simple to have treeview and listview alone side by side and auto-synchronized.

It is becoming more apparent that is probably my best option...
