IE7 & AutoIt : Your opinion plz

No issues with IE7. If you are upgrading to Vista at the same time however, new security features in Vista cause trouble. Using #RequireAdmin in your scripts takes care of those issues however.

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

It may be my lack of knowledge, however I do have hard times to automate IE7. All I can get from _IECreate() is either nothing or a zero (0). I even tried to use _IEAttach() with allmost all possible $s_mode parameters. ANd without an object handle you cannot continue...

What are you doing to examine the return value from _IECreate? You need to use IsObj or ObjName
