IE 7

There will be better support in the future. For now, search the forum for __IENavigate (2 underscores) or look in IE.au3 itself for an undocumented function __IENavigate that will give you some capabilities. Or... see MSDN for the Navigate and Navigate2 methods...

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Thanks for the quick answer. I couldnt find what i was looking for, like a function that returns the number of tabs. switching can be done with hotkeys. is there a way to catch when a tab opens? for example, if a pub pop up appears, i want to close it. any ideas how i could do that? thanks

That kind of info and control is not available to the DOM as they work purposefully to hide the tab environment for security reasons.
