goober10 Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 I am trying to create a program, that will be in startup, so that when it runs it can detect and restore certain settings. IE: Wallpaper, Screensaver, etc. But another thing that I need it to do, which I can't seem to figure out how to do, is have the icons on the desktop restore to the original. In other words, I want it to be able to detect additional things on the desktop and delete them if they aren't on the original desktop. Also, I need it to move the icons back to there original location on the desktop so that every time the user logs in, the desktop will always look the same. ...? Thanks a Bunch! It created an INI file that had the locations of the desktop icons on it. I'll search around and see if I can find it again.
