GOCR can't use PNG, you first have to convert the image:

with Convert from ImageMagick

convert image.png -threshold 8,90,180 -monochrome img.pnm

Possibly, you have to remove the threshold or change it, so that you get best results.

Then you can use gocr:

gocr045.exe -C 0-9. -i img.pnm -o test.txt
