goldenix Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 When you use a window handle for the title parameter then the text parameter is completely ignored. It is important to note that a window handle is not classed as a number or string - it is its own special type. So If I know the Handle, like in this case, How can I use it? ;~ This Works $handle = WinGetHandle("Untitled - Notepad", "") WinSetState($handle, "", @SW_HIDE) Sleep(1000) WinSetState($handle, "", @SW_SHOW) ConsoleWrite($handle & @CRLF) ;~ This Does not Any idea Why ? $handle = '0x0032054A' WinSetState($handle, "", @SW_HIDE) Sleep(1000) WinSetState($handle, "", @SW_SHOW) ConsoleWrite($handle & @CRLF) My Projects:

Guide - ytube step by step tut for reading memory with autoitscript + samples
WinHide - tool to show hide windows, Skinned With GDI+
Virtualdub batch job list maker - Batch Process all files with same settings
Exp calc - Exp calculator for online games
Automated Microsoft SQL Server 2000 installer
Image sorter helper for IrfanView - 1 click opens img & move ur mouse to close opened img
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Airwolf Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 WinSetState wasn't working for me either. Try this: #Include <WinAPI.au3> $handle = '0x0032054A' _WinAPI_ShowWindow($handle, @SW_HIDE) Sleep(1000) _WinAPI_ShowWindow($handle, @SW_SHOW) ConsoleWrite($handle & @CRLF) Certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, LPIC-1, MCSA | Languages: AutoIt, C, SQL, .NETBooks: AutoIt v3: Your Quick Guide - $7.99 - O'Reilly Media - September 2007-------->AutoIt v3 Development - newbie to g33k - Coming Soon - Fate Publishing - Spring 2013UDF Libraries: SkypeCOM UDF Library | ADUC Computers OU Cleanup | Find PixelChecksumExamples: Skype COM Examples - Skype4COMLib Examples converted from VBS to AutoIt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Airwolf Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 It's should be a handle, not a string, use HWnd('0x0032054A').Ah, I thought it was the type causing the problem, but I couldn't remember HWnd's name.
