system24
I am making this program that locks the computer (not the Lock Computer in Windows, because I can't find a way to automate it.). The process is to kill Explorer.exe, prevent Task Manager from opening, and when you press F11, a Input Box appears and asks the password to unlock the system. The problem is that when I open the input box, I can open Task Manager and close the program. And the only solution is that an If statement that checks active instances of Task Manager is running while the input box is still open. Is such thing possible? Richard Robertson
You will have to make your own GUI with a text box in it. That way you can check for the task manager and process the password at the same time. InputBox is a blocking function by design.
