MSN Messenger Window Help

Recommended Posts

You can, if you do not have their window opened(by reading the so called "toast" window that pops up when they write..)

I don't know any other method I'm afraid, not without using a dll. :|

Or, you could use the old Windows Messenger, cus that uses "normal" controls, and can be read with the built-in autoit functions. :)

Well I don't know exactly, I just read some example in some c++ forum, that one could make a DLL, and inject it into the messenger processes and retrieve the text, etc. from that.

I don't remember what it was called or I was reading though. :|

Perhaps you could make your program read the logs from messenger, and notice new messages that way(could be made easier if you have msn messenger plus installed, because of the txt format it uses).

I think he wants his program to be able to parse the text too, not just saving an image of the screen..
