Moderators SmOke_N Posted July 1, 2008 Moderators Share Posted July 1, 2008 I am trying to copy text where some of it might be underlined or strikethrough. Is there a way to detect for this in my script?Such a broad question. We don't even know where you're getting the text from or how.Anyway, look up as much as you can on Rich Edit controls and maybe take a look at the _Word.au3 udf by big_daddy. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer. ozone
Well, generally the clipboard which copied text from MSWord/WordPad. I checked out rich edit but the functions seemed out of my league. So what do you think? Is there a way to detect whether a character in a string of text in the clipboard is underlined, strikethrough, or just normal? zorphnog
Out of your league or not, the best way is going to be rich edit functions.
