Jos or someone can you remove that link??

I dont want people to view my source!!!

And somebody has a decompiler cause I didnt upload it!!

What link needs to be removed ?

You know you can edit your own post or else you need to be specific like give a link to the post you refer to.

Also there is this nice feature called "! REPORT" that you can click to report something to the Mods. Just specify what you want in the free text.

Probably beter than to try and get our attention by changing the Topic title/sub title.

Jos

  • 4 weeks later...

Here's some things you might consider (a few nitpicks if you will ;))

+ Convenience

* Post a screenshot of the media player.

* I have disabled the connection to the media player, it now is stuck in an infinite loop. please include all files with the distribution or make the pictures and "other files" not a requirement.

+ Make it portable (or as an option)

* Use INI files instead of registry (as I have enough clutter in my registry as is)

* Use the @ScriptDir for user files. (same goes for my file system)

Cheers

I posted a screenshot

what do you mean with making it portable?

Do you like to download the pictures manually?

dont you think its far more easy when the program downloads them for you?

(ps other files are language files (en.txt and nl.txt)

It has to use the registry because when there is an update, the update knows the path of were it needs to go..

@scriptdir for userfiles?

the path of the images is @AppDataDir\whitedragonpics\

Thanks.

what do you mean with making it portable?

You could make it as a Portable Application.

Do you like to download the pictures manually?

No. All the files included in a single archive would be preferred.

dont you think its far more easy when the program downloads them for you?

It really depends; but no, it's too much of a hassle, what if your website went down, the files would never be downloaded.

It has to use the registry because when there is an update, the update knows the path of were it needs to go..

That makes sense, But you could always run the update from the same path as the files.

@scriptdir for userfiles?

All the files, including the images could be placed where the main executable is, I suppose.

I updated it again...

;)

new things:

-icons and buttons change when you hover the mouse over them

-when you click info, you are able to change the title, artist or album name of your song..

-the simple option at the setting 'notice when a new song starts' is new because when a new song starts a voice tells you what the song title and artist is.

-when running the program twice the second one will just acitvate the first programs window and then exit..

new update:

-I added a new button at the tray menu, check it out!

-I fixed a bug when clicking previous it would go back but not select the correct song and not change the msn name, fixt that..

-Its now possible to chose the size of the playlist, (normal or large).

latest update: 2.0.5.0

-drag and drop files are accepted ;)

-Possibility to stream radio*

-some bugs fixed

-if a disc is inserted in your computer, the program looks if there are music files on it. If there are music files on the disc it will ask you: Do you want to rip them to your playlist and if you click 'yes' it will rip the songs to the directory you gave up and will add them to your playlist!..

-gui has rounded edges..

*if you put your language on nederlands (via settings) and restart the program. It will ask you if you want to add a dutch radio channel to your playlist (538)

you can also do this manually by clicking, radio stream and entering an url..

I ask, and I recieve. Wow! ...are you a genie? lol

Have you tried dropping a movie on it? It works!

How do you find ulr's to put in for streaming? I never could figure that one out for any media player ;)

Thanks for the great program and keep up the good work!

Thank you.

I am playing some mp3's right now, but I have to manually advance to the next song. What happened?

It was working before.

Url works. (I don't know what language they're speaking)

What I'm looking for is 80's Rock. I've been searching for a list of radio url's but keep coming up empty.

Edit: I tried to start it again, and got this in a message box:

Line -1

Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript range exceeded.

Ok, new update: (2.1.0.0)

-if you use to save settings since the last update (2.0.5.0) and restart the program. An error would come up, I fixt this.. (like you had Amerigo)

-Updated the stream radio inputbox to a gui, check it ou!

-fixt some other small bugs

could people try to find some .m3u links wich work? and then send them to me, because I now only have 1 radio channel...

me again.

I deleted the old one, downloaded the new installation, and got the same error from it.

I even uninstalled AutoIt, and reinstalled a fresh download. That didn't help either.
