Damastah
Is there a way i can log and/or control what external files a program tries to access? Kind of like Sandboxie in which i can say, "this program is or is trying to access File1 and then relink that connection to another file? Please ask me for more details if needed. What I'm basically going for is to make a program that will make virtually any program portable, and take anything that it saves or needs to use on a system, move that to a directory that can be ported, and make all future connections or attemps to access the file, to the local file. Confused? Me too. But it sounds like a great Idea. muttley
zfisherdrums
It doesn't quite meet al your requirements, but SysInternal's FileMon is a good utility to monitor and log all file system interactions for a specific application. It may aid in your quest.Zach Fisher... Edited July 15, 2008 by zfisherdrums Identify .NET controls by their design time namesLazyReader© could have read all this for you.
