issue with shiftup

Recommended Posts

Global $Paused
HotKeySet("{PAUSE}", "TogglePause")
HotKeySet("{ESC}", "Terminate")

While 1
    Sleep(100)
WEnd

Func TogglePause()
    $Paused = NOT $Paused
    Send("{shiftdown}")
    While $Paused
        sleep(100)
    WEnd
        Send("{shiftup}")
EndFunc

Func Terminate()
exit 0
EndFunc

pretty much right from the helpfile except instead of a tooltip im holding down shift and letting it go.

im on windows vista and i was unable to find any documentation in the helpfile about this issue.

it holds down shift, but will not let it go.

Just a guess, since my Pause button is a Fn function (I use a laptop right now), try making another hotkey for whatever Shift + Pause is.

i tried a different hotkey. i used esc

when i press pause it sends shift down

when i press esc it does nothing.

it seems that the issue is with shiftup.

it simply does not want to work on this laptop running vista.
