Random Offset mouse click

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to make mouse clicks have a random offset of say a couple of pixels.

This is what 'I' have come up with, but it doesn't work muttley

MouseClick("left", Random(296, 132), Random(295, 131) 269, 132)

Thanking you in advance, Justin.

Well lets go to basics,

MsgBox (0, "", Random (296,132))

What do you get?

Why do you get that result?

Failure: Returns 0 and sets @error flag to 1 if bad parameters.

So lets have a look at the paramaters, what do we have?

Random ( [Min [, Max [, Flag]]] )

What do you have?

Random ( [Max [, Min]])

So lets change them around.

MsgBox (0, "", Random (132,296))

Now what do you get?

So the result can be a decimal number. We need an integer. So what function combats that decimal number?
