I tried to execute "count-for" (example file) under Windows 95 but nothing happend...

May script have to be compiled by AutoIt under Windows 95 ?

Have you compiled it with the ANSI version ?

don't know...

where is this option ?

Thx

I assume you compiled the script?

It is an option in aut2exe.

When you are using the full version of SciTE4AutopIt3 you could also use the #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseAnsi Directive.

GTK about that directive, thanks Jos :)

There are soooo much goodies there at your disposal when you take a couple of minutes to open the SciTE4AutoIt3 helpfile muttley

not sure, I'm not at work.

But it seems to be Aut2exe.exe as a default ...

I've just installed on my PC and it was the default exe launched

That is correct., but you could run aut2exe manually and set it to ANSI or install the full SciTE4AutoIt3 installer and add this line to the top of the script:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_UseAnsi=y

Autoit v3 doesn't work under Win95...

I found an older version which works under WIN95: autoit 2.42...

But the syntax is harder than autoit3...

There is no for loop !!!!

It does...trust me.

How did you come to this conclusion?

nothing about for loop in help file of autoit 2.42

just seen

IfComparator, var, value, goto, label

<....>

Exit

label:

Step back: AutoIt3 is Win95 compatible so you should use that! Don't try to use V2.

Now why do you say it isn't ?

Have you used autoit3A.exe end AUT2EXEA.exe ?

As I already mentioned: Load the full version of SciTE4AutoIt3. (See my sig for setup details).
