gangstaff
I would like to edit the default script used when you create a new AutoIt file. I am using Scite, and when I create a new script it displays the Version, Author, Script Function...but I'd like to edit it so that it has me as the author, plus includes a bunch of settings and includes. I've scoured the dir's and Scite and the Help files and haven't been able to find anything. I DON'T want to create a new file that I have to open and Save As..., I'd like to edit the default "template" if possible. Thanks!

ProgAndy
Do you create the au3-File in Explorer with RightClick-> New -> AutoIt3 Script ? Then you can easily edit it with http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...c=76624&hl= *GERMAN* [note: you are not allowed to remove author / modified info from my UDFs]My UDFs:[_SetImageBinaryToCtrl] [_TaskDialog] [AutoItObject] [Animated GIF (GDI+)] [ClipPut for Image] [FreeImage] [GDI32 UDFs] [GDIPlus Progressbar] [Hotkey-Selector] [Multiline Inputbox] [MySQL without ODBC] [RichEdit UDFs] [SpeechAPI Example] [WinHTTP]UDFs included in AutoIt: FTP_Ex (as FTPEx), _WinAPI_SetLayeredWindowAttributes
gangstaff
Thanks for the speedy replies! I found template.au3 in "C:\windows\ShellNew"...I don't have the file in my Templates folder. I edited and saved the file from ShellNew and that did the trick. Thanks much!
