skippynz Posted July 30, 2008 Share Posted July 30, 2008 Hi everyone - ive reformatted my pc with XP SP3 - previously has SP2 on it and no issues with installing AU3 - but now when i install on SP3 i seem to have the following issues and wonder if anyone else has had them and a fix ? * not able to right click on the desktop - and create a new AU3 file - in c:\windows\ShellNEW there is a template.au3 file but doesnt show in the context menu * file associations have been setup but no edit button when right clicking on the file (its like not everything has been setup correctly) * double clicking an au3 file opens it in notepad not running it (i had set it to "Run the script" during the install) for now thats all i can think of but this is a pain in the ... Did you install any AV or malware protection before the AutoIt install?
