I used this function today, and it brought up the name of the guy that used this computer previously. My Account settings have my name, Everything has my name except the c:\documents and settings\ folder. Is that right? Should I create a new user account for myself to fix it?

After that path there should be a folder for every user on that PC.

Yes, but instead of creating a new account, I edited the existing and changed it to my name, so the user account folder didn't change? and it didn't create a new folder for my name.

Right... and it never will under those circumstances. I've seen help desk folks use "user migration tools", but that always barfs something. Just change the user ID back to what it was and create a fresh user for yourself.
