Remote desktop winwait/winactive

Hi Everyone,

I have a general question that some may have encountered and maybe shed some light upon.

I use remote desktop to run my scripts. They work perfectly fine if the remote session is maximized, but falters when I minimize the screen. It seems like the script doesn't perform the WinWait/WinActive/WinWaitActive in the scripts to test for the existence of the applications being open. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm just curious which remote desktop you are using and if you are controlling just that app

or the actual apps inside the windows running on the other server.

If the first part, is it mostly verifying the status of the remote app, or starting it up, etc?

If the last part, what kind of programs have you been able to monitor or control?

P.S. You can PM me if you prefer not to post in this thread.

Maybe I need to clarify what I'm actually doing....

1. I remote into another system manually using mstsc.

2. On that system, I have scripts that I execute manually to launch/close apps inside of that remote session.

They run fine if I keep the remote session maximized, but fails to launch/close when minimized. Is it a focus thing?

Thanks
