i need help in "if and then"

hi..can someone please help me?

i'll give an example

$close = InputBox("exit","do u want to exit?")

if $close = "yes" then Exit

if $close = "no" then run("notepad.exe")

now how do i do that if they write something else then yes or no they will get an error msg or something like that..

To do it using an input box try something like this

Func _Get_Input()
   $input = InputBox("Exit", "Do you really want to exit?")
   If $Input = "Yes" Then
      Exit
   ElseIf $Input = "No Then
      Run("Notepad.exe")
   Else
     ;_Get_Input()
      Return
   EndIt
EndFunc

This will cause it to just return if the answer is not Yes or No. Un-commenting the "_Get_Input()" will force it to reload the input box until they answer either yes or no. The Else statement could also be written blank but it could produce unwanted results.
