simbo
Hi All I've been using a script on my XP machine for some time. It has buttons like this:- GUICtrlCreateButton("",10,10,50,20,$BS_BITMAP) GUICtrlSetImage(-1,"coolpic.bmp") This looks most pleasant; my inner simpleton was most pleased with having a picture on my button. It works like a button should. When I run the same script on my Vista machine (using the same monitor and screen resolution) the buttons appear flat and don't have the natty effect of being pushed down when you click them. They do however, work fine. It's just that they look a bit odd. Any help most appreciated Matt
Achilles
I've also noticed this problem, just try using GUiCtrlSetBkColor on a vista button and it will look like crap. jpm
The button coloring was design at the time Vista was not existing. It was not a perfect solution even under XP Theme but it looks almost like. Now Valik is working for a better solution for any Windows version. I don't know when that will be available but just be patient in case you need it.
