If I lock the computer or its not in the normal running state the IE stops until i unlock it or become active again ?

$$oIE = _IECreate("www.google.ca", "", 0, 1)

$oForm = _IEFormGetObjByName($oIE, "temp")

$oQuery = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm, "2")

$oQuery2 = _IEFormElementGetObjByName($oForm, "3")

$FixARTIST = _IEFormElementGetValue($oQuery)

$FixSONG = _IEFormElementGetValue($oQuery2)

$DATE_ENTERED = _NowCalcDate()

$TIME_ENTERED = _NowTime()TIME_ENTERED = _NowTime()

Can It run evenwhen the screen is locked or on a screensaver ?

thanks,

#include <IE.au3>

$oIE = _IECreate("www.google.de", "", 1, 1)
Sleep(5000)
_IENavigate($oIE,"www.autoitscript.com",1)

I tested with this script.

I started the script and locked the pc, after 5 seconds i logged in and ie shows me the autoitscript-website.

So for me it works even if the pc is locked...

The problem is a windowsconfiguration i think

I think bluelamp is right. Some configurations allow programs to run even when the computer is locked or in screensaver but afaik most default configurations suspend everything. I could be getting this backwards but it seems the most logical case.
