Quinch
Is there a command with which I can find the position of the first character which doesn't match the given string? For example, let's say that I have a string variable with the value "AAAAAABCAADEFJRKEAAA" - what would be the simplest way to find where the stream of As ends? I've tried adding the "NOT" keyword to StringInStr, for example StringInStr($list_contents, NOT @LF)...but that always returns zero.Any suggestions on how to handle this with a minimum of clutter? MrCreatoR
Not sure i understand, you need to find an end position of some string? then just add the lenght:$String = "AAAAAABCAADEFJRKEAAA" $EndString = "AAAAAA" MsgBox(64, "", _ StringFormat("<%s> End Position in <%s>:\n\n%i", $EndString, $String, StringInStr($String, $EndString)+StringLen($EndString)-1)) $EndString = "DEF" MsgBox(64, "", _ StringFormat("<%s> End Position in <%s>:\n\n%i", $EndString, $String, StringInStr($String, $EndString)+StringLen($EndString)-1)) Spoiler Using OS: Win 7 Professional, Using AutoIt Ver(s): 3.3.6.1 / 3.3.8.1 AutoIt Russian Community My Work...
