Nanaki
Hi, I'm new to this languge, but it's awesome Anyway, I currently have a MSI installer which I run with the /QR command. In the middle an error pops up which I ignore with autoit. Now, is it possible to hide the installer with this script? I can't seem to get it tow ork. Andre
run or runas with @SW_HIDE option See help for details. Andre What about Windows without using AutoIt ?It would be the same as driving a car without an steering Wheel!
Nanaki
Doesn't work cause the initial installer (which is ironically hidden by default) launches a second instance. Anyway, my code just won't work. It hates me. I have a SETUP.EXE which launches a .MSI with the title "Windows installer". After some while that title changes to "Program". Later an error appears, which I was able to ignore. But nothing is invisible. here's my code: Run("SETUP.EXE /QB") WinWaitActive("Windows Installer") ControlHide("Windows Installer") WinWaitActive("Program") ControlHide("Program") WinWaitActive("Program Fault", "Error") Send("!N") WinWaitClose("Program") Any ideas? I searched. :/
