Compile Problems

Recommended Posts

Hi, i know is should first use the search, but its not working at moment :(

Its a long time ago i used autoit, now im back, downloaded the new version and new beta. Now i want compile a new script an many things changed.

I cant compile with options over context menue, is that normal now?

I found a way to get my own icon with Compile Script to .exe (Beta), but reshack dont works any more.

Is there a way to add my program information?

Sorry for this noob question, but the new compileing is confusing me.

Thx for any answer :P

First you should get the full version of SciTE, the lite you get with AutoIt is not very good. Download it from HERE.

Then you open the script in SciTE and go to Tools>Compile or press Ctrl+F7.

Ok, new problem, compileing works fine now, but if i want to add my own icon, i get an error: Error changing icon: Unable to read icon or icon format is wrong

I dont know what the problem is, i createt that icon (32x32) with STiconED :P

I attach my icon as file, i looks normal for me.

Edit: I made another test and added the icon to extra icons, the result was a crash.

AppName: aut2exe.exe AppVer: 3.2.13.8 ModName: aut2exe.exe

ModVer: 3.2.13.8 Offset: 00003579

Compileing with Compile Script to .exe (Beta) works with this icon.

Edit2: Problem was solved by reinstalling Autoit :(
