Monty
When I use "Obfuscator" on a script (au3 file), it makes it VERY VERY hard for a person to read and understand it. Well, may be not as hard as trying to understand how a women works (jokes - sorry to all my SiStErS out there). Questions: ------------- 1. But what happens to a compiled script? (ie: exe files). If somehow decompiled, will it be as hard to understand? 2. Do we still have the support (from the makers/administrators) to convert a "Obfuscator'd" file back to a normal au3 file (of course ONLY if we prove that it is truly our own script). No, unless they decide to do so. Keep in mind, there are deobfuscators out there. so don't keep any information in the file like passwords you personally use. tolle indicium
BillLuvsU
Obfuscator won't stop anyone for long. It is a simple matter to reverse the steps obfuscator uses. It doesn't change the script in any way to change how it works, it just scrambles names to make it hard to understand.
