Tsongkie
Do you use a different command line if you use windows vista 64 to compile your au3 scripts?
Skrip
Use the 64bit version of autoit. That's the only difference afaik. monoceres
Hi! Since x64 is backwards compatible with x86 the executables that are default to be created will still work with your Vista version. If you want executables that uses the x64 version of autoit hit ctrl+F7 in SciTe, in the dialog that appears you can chose to use the x64 version instead. Broken link? PM me and I'll send you the file!
Tsongkie
I see. Well the question is would the compiler work using vista 64? Or do you still need to use the 64bit compiler? Because the probem I am having is that my current programs does not compile under vista.

What do you mean by "does not compile"? Tsongkie
here's what my software does: it compiles on the end user's system, i added aut2exe,upx andautoitsc.bin and make it compile on their end. Works great in windows xp but when it is trying to compile under a vista os, it doesnt produce the final executable. I'm thinking it might be a problem with the compiler or ShellExecute in Vista. Any ideas?
crazydude
Why don't you just simply compile it on your end and give your users the compiled executable?
