Create TreeView from Text-File

Hi AutoIt-Gurus,

I've been searching through the Forum but couldn't find anything that solved my problem.

I would like to display the output of DUMPACL (after some pre-processing) in a TreeView.

Has anyone written a script to display a directory structure read from a file?

I would be very grateful for a starting point.

Thanks a lot

Thomas

Hi Reinhard,

thanks a lot for your fast reply and the great example.

I've encountered a little problem:

When I uncomment the line

;GUICtrlSetState($displayitem, BitOR($GUI_EXPAND, $GUI_DEFBUTTON))   ; Expand the "Display"-item and paint in bold
the item "Display" doesn't show the "+" on the left side.

When I click on the "Display" item the "+" will be shown. Seems to be the redraw glitch mentioned in Post

http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...st&p=508775.

Inserting _GUICtrlTreeView_BeginUpdate / _GUICtrlTreeView_EndUpdate solved the problem.

Thanks a lot for your help

Thomas

I saw that, but didn't have had the time to look for a solution.

I will correct the example by time.

Thanks for the hint, Reinhard
