Nico
Hi. I need to get an array of the printers that are installed on the machine. This could be useful the automatically install some missing printers on the client computers, comparing the installed printers list with a list of printers that should be installed. Is there a way to get this information with AutoIt? Thank you Nico
mc1226
The installed printers (OS W2K/WXP) are listed in registry subkeys ofHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printersor/andHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\PrintersThe syntax of each subkey is related to printers type (local, network and network provider)Other usefull info are contained in key values of each printer subkey (like "Name", "Printer Driver", "Port" ....)Hope this can help youVincenzo
