charvi
How do I change the background color and the character color in an input field? The example below doesn't work. $Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("prompt", 20, 100, 270, 25) GUISetBkColor(0x0000ff,$Input1)
Pain
GUICreate("test") GUICtrlCreateInput("", 100, 100) GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1, 0xffff00) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, 0xff00ff) GUISetState() Sleep(5000)
charvi
GUICreate("test") GUICtrlCreateInput("", 100, 100) GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1, 0xffff00) GUICtrlSetColor(-1, 0xff00ff) GUISetState() Sleep(5000) Thank you Pain, that works perfectly. The reason I could not solve the problem myself is because the helpfile shows: GUISetBkColor ( background [, winhandle] )so I thought I had to use the background first, then the winhandle! Perhaps a Help-bug?

Perhaps a Help-bug? Oh, you are right, ProgAndy! Another question: can I remove the frame around the input field? Or at least give the frame another color?
